MOVIE TIE-IN! WTF AEIROU!

I know, I know.. none of you care that much. Anyway.. I felt like playing a survival horror game that I've never actually played before. Parasite EVE, Resident Evil, Silent Hill.. I've been there and done that. I loved the Saw movies so I watched the intro of this game on youtube and decided that I could play this game. I love when the combat is so bad in a horror game that it actually contributes to it being creepy or scary. In Saw's case, I never ran across any bugs, the story/atmosphere does the movie's proud, and it is a pretty low grade survival horror. I found that, while the game wasn't actually scary, I did get creeped out after awhile.. and some areas I had to force myself to move forward, fearing ambush.

The most OH SHIT moment is probably when you get the gun collar in the story.. and your discover that enemies that also have this collar can activate yours by being too close to you. So when you get the collar and it starts beeping.. it's always time to run away.

Once I came out of a crack in the wall that you have to squeeze through and it starting beeping right away. I was like, OH F* time to go back in my hole!

Just spent around 3 hours trying to get a silver trophy on Army of Two 40th Day. Finally got the trophy for completing all 16 rounds of Extraction in one sitting, took the piss! But the main issue was partners... Been asking for co-op partners about, got a shitload of adds then they joined the game and quit not long into it.... One guy quite on round 16 itself. People are idiots, but I do think I can platinum this game, I only have 2 more online trophies left, both of which are silvers for winning on all maps and survive a whole area of Extraction with no deaths on the team.

About to co-op the spare trophies I need in BF3 now if the game decides to actually work now.

Will have my LA Noire platinum soon, I'm back at school tomorrow so I won't have another for a while but that'll be #17!

May be even longer since Steam sales always mean I'm off the PS3 for ages.

Got my Skyrim Platinum last night. Took just over 286 hours in all, and to my knowledge I've completed all the quests and completed all the locations. The only thing I haven't done is grow to the max level. I'm kind of sad I've seen everything in the game now, but also pleased to finish it happy, knowing it's one of my favourite games ever.

I'm grinding my way through Rainbow Moon. I will probably not set a course for the plat in this quite yet since it requires a grind to level 500. lol But I yearn for my FF Tactics days each time I turn it on. It's much faster paced than tactics, mind you, but the soundtrack was so... repetitive that I had to remove it and play my own music.
