Games you wish you could get into but can't

I just watched a SF X T video which I thought was awesome and it reminded me of how I wish I could get into the SF series but I just can't. I've played a few SF's but I have never enjoyed them enough to actually get into the series.

I barely played SF as a kid but it's still one of the most memorable games from my childhood.

I own 2 SF's for the PS1 which I bought because they were only $2 each and I have tried to get into them both but I just find the gameplay boring an very limited.

Dead Island. Has a Spas-12, my favourite gun, is in but they are few and far between. Gimme one at the beginning of the gameand i'll play the hell out of it.

No no, i had the game well before i found out it has a Spas-12, but i couldn't get into it at all, even though it was my most anticipated game of 2011, and way back when no one had heard of it before it came out. The Spas was/is merely a bonus.

There wasn't a time when nobody had heard of it. The announcement trailer set the internet on fire....

Driver San Francisco: Played the demo and just couldn't enjoy it though I loved Driv3r on PS2

Silent Hill Homecoming: Bought it, played it for a day and traded it in, looked a rather cool game but couldn't get into it at all, if I have to look at a guide 5 minutes after I start playing then I know it's not for me.

Aliens vs. Predator: Decent idea playing as 3 different roles, though playing as the Aliens was like controlling a cat inside a tumbledryer (Zero Punctuation reference) but that didn't help it, the online was pretty poor and required too much for so little points and was rather dead so not even the side crap could keep me hooked.

Saints Row 3: Though I platinummed it, it was nothing like what I wanted from it and I found it very boring and disappointing, jokes were meh, I think I'm too old to be playing 18+ games that are directed at 13 year olds though.

and in some ways the Uncharted series, I have 1 and 2... From what I've played they do seem amazing but they're games that I've only ever picked up once or twice, played an hour or two then gave up and never touched again. I want to get into these and I feel I will someday but for now I feel I have too much to do to focus on these games, definantely not saying I hate Uncharted, I just can't be arsed with it.

Ohhh I just couldn't get myself away from Uncharted when I statred playing it. Amazing games and it just got me hooked.

But on to the topic, Assassins creed, I love the concept of the games and the combat can be exciting. It just gets sooo boring for me so fast I just can't get into it at all.

Assassin's Creed seems to be big on topic here so I'll throw in a few pennys of thought.

I wasn't overly into AC1 either, it was fun to play and the story was rather interesting with exception to the missions being overly repetitive to which I ended up listening to music all the way through the game because I figured I'd either be killing 1 person, killing a group, evesdropping or pickpocketing, there was no choice in missions so I only turned the sound off during the main assassinations so I could hear more about the story.

But AC2, Brotherhood and Revelations (so far from what I've played) have been some of the best games I've ever played and I'm glad I stuck with the series as it really paid off.
