I saw the ign review for the game, it does looked like the shooting needed a little more work, I mean the part were the guy completely forgets you have a gun. But I agree with you in the fact that the rest of the complaints seem a little harsh. The thing is one should always take those reads with a grain of salt because there are no objective reviews anywhere because a review is an opinion, it'll always be subjective. Some points can be objective like the frame rate and stuff but a game for one person can be beautiful and entertaining and for the next horrible and obnoxious.
