DEAD SPACE 3 Sign leak, DSp3 confirmed?

I'll be one of the few, if not the on ly person here who doesn't care.DS pissed me off and bored me like few games have. I didn't even bother playing DS2 other than the demo which admittedly was scarier than DS1. Though that isn't even slightly hard.

Dead Space was great fun... but Dead Space 2 turned to shit after Chapter 10.

Because Dead Space is fun because it's eerie and creepy. You feel trapped when you're in space and with everything being F'd up around you.. the tension builds. Once the enemies just come wave after wave.. the tension just stops. I became seperated from my immersion and just got irritated with the shear amount of enemies and constant ambushes. It's meant to provide tension, but it just becomes tedious and annoying. That was the thing with BF3 campaign too. Not only was the story drab and predictable.. but you were literally swarmed and ambushed at every turn. Developers throw in the ambushes to build tension or add hours to the game.. but it only creates busy work. You have to balance out the encounters to leave the gamer WANTING more, not giving them so much that they just want it to be over.

Dead Space should have better developed the atmosphere to create more tension rather than rush enemies into it. Make a chase scene.. a nick of time door bar that lets you know that the enemies are coming... not 3 chapters of near constant enemies.

I remember absolutely loving the 'return to the Ishimura' part of Dead Space 2.

This will be a day one buy for me, looking forward to the official announcement.

Yeah, you're defending their reasoning for enemies being about but I still think it could have been done differently and been improved.
