Have'nt tried Youtube yet though as I'm always afraid of Youtube on this browser. I do notice blue lines under the words as I type this. Think they added a spell check. Nope, not a spell check as I intentionally spelled a word wrong and nothing changed.

Finally renewed my PS+ subscription. I was pretty gutted to see that the Back to the Future series is'nt free anymore. Had to settle for The Simpsons Arcade instead.  Still though, I'm glad I have my cloud saving back. Being getting strange symptoms from my PS3 lately.

I'm starting to get problems with my PS3 too. Pretty much an identical fault that I had with my last PS3. Sometimes when I start a game I get an error code and the PS3 refuses to read the disc. I have to eject and re-insert the disc to get it working.
Btw, the Header Competition is now stickied. Seems to me nobody notices it up there.

Anyone know of any good headphones for the PS3? Not too expensive though. I play at night when everyone is in bed so I have to have the volume on my tv down pretty low. Would love to be able to play with full volume.

Very nice. Any wireless ones? I sit about 6 foot from my tv so I doubt any wired headphones would have a 6 foot wire. Be nice to have a mic attached too.

Tbh Bergin I think 80 is a fair price for what you're getting. Wireless, 7.1 Dolby, mic, battery can be re-charged the same way as a Sixaxis, interface with the PS3 looks to be fantastic too. I'm very tempted. Might ask wife to get it for my birthday.

Has anyone downloaded The Impossible Game mini that is free for EU PS+ yet?
I usually don't play a Mini for more than 10 minutes but this one had me hooked for over an hour. It's so damn addictive. Sometimes the simple games are the best.

The campaign tells an amazing story, especially at the end, but that is *bleep*ing hysterical that you just said the Multiplayer is fun. Well I only played 2 matches and it seemed very decent. I did die quite a bit though. It's like a cross between COD and BF. It was also my favourite gamemode ever. I forget what it's called though. Conquest is it? The one whereby attackers have 100 lives to capture a base and then the map expands and the defenders start spawning at the next base. If the attackers take over all 5 bases they win but if they lose all their lives they lose. I love that mode. Such a clever mode.

Red 9 the video kept skipping and pausing for me so I couldn't really give it a proper listen but it sounded good enough for me to give you props. Was doing a bit of spring cleaning today and I discoved a stack of old PS magazines (PSM, Official PS, etc) from years ago. I had a quick skim read through a couple of them. Isn't it amazing how wrong journalists are most of the time? There was a preview for COD4 in which the journalist said (not a direct quote but something along these lines): "as COD says goodbye to WW2 we have our doubts that this modern route they are taking will please fans. Some say WW2 has been overdone but COD just wouldn't be COD if we aren't shooting green helmets off of Nazis. It's a big risk but only time will tell if it pays off." Yeah, time will tell.

Yes but there are 4 reasons why I think people don't use it and prefer my guides instead. 1. It's a bit glitchy for some people. It didn't work for me. My last shard was very close to where I was yet when I pinged the radar the shard was nowhere to be seen. 2. The blue shard blip on the radar kind of blends in with the radar' colors which makes it often hard to see. I'm guessing it's even harder to see on a SDTV. 3. The Shard Sense power doesn't get unlocked until near the end of the game so I'm guessing a lot of people just don't have the patience to wait that long and just use my guides instead. 4. Getting the shards with my guides is a lot faster than trying to get them all on your own. In my guides the shards are very clearly shown on the radar and on the map screen and I've also given them infinite electricity too so they can get to each shard super fast. Also some shards are hard to find even if you know exactly where they are on the radar so I programmed a message to appear on screen when they get in the vicinity of a hard to find shard (such as "it's high up on top of the building"). Basically, using my guides is a lot more convenient than using the Shard Sense power.

GuideI kind of expected it to be higher than 16240 plays. From looking at its recent activity it seems to be getting played quite a lot every day.

It's crap and I just don't get it. All I could do was pick from 2 livestreams and all you see is a shitty visualiser with a terrible backing track. I'm not even sure if it was indeed a livestream.

I have never downloaded a trial and I never plan to either. I just don't see the sense in downloading an entire game (often 10GB or more) which often takes 2 or 3 hours to download just for 1 hour of playtime. It just doesn't seem worth it. Time goes damn fast when playing games so that hour will pass before you know it.

Pretty sad that this is the best update we've gotten in quite a long time. Guess we'll only be getting minor updates from now on. A few other minor things I'd wish they'd fix.. I'm always getting multiple Game Invites while playing Blops so I have to go to Messages > Inbox > Click into message and then when I press circle I'm sent back out to the XMB instead of the inbox. So I'd have to do it all again for the next message. That only happens with unread messages too which makes it even more annoying.
Ability to delete multiple messages.
Why do my trophies ALWAYS sync when comparing even if I haven't earned any new trophies since the last time I synced??
The XMB is dreadfully slow at loading while ingame. I timed it last night while messaging Aeirou while I was in the lobby of Blackops. Took 3 seconds for the XMB to load and 6 seconds to load the friend list. After sending the message it took another 3 seconds to go back to the game.

http://www.ps3youtube.com/Go on that on your PS3. Follow the instructions at the top . You should get HD Vids and be able to download them Nice to see other people using that. Sometimes it feels like I'm the only one who knows about it. I never use the regular Youtube on my PS3 browser. Even if someone embeds a YT vid in a post I'd copy the link and watch it on PS3Youtube instead. I've downloaded quite a few vids using it too.
