The problem is that the credits are worth money. =/ If you can redeem them for anything of monetary value, then they're worth money. Also considering the fact that 4 Aces mentioned using Home as a hub to gamble on actual sporting events...yeah, this just wouldn't work out at all. Simply put, it would be a mess legally to sort out and Sony doesn't want to have to put up with that at all.

Nope, it's just that every single time a new idea is mentioned on Neo, it's shot down like it was the worst *bleep*in thing that could've ever happened. It's pretty damn tiring.

Yeah it's one thing to complain about people constantly shooting down good ideas that eventually get implemented but this is just a bad idea in general.

Don't like the idea really, doesn't appeal to me, gambling doesn't really.

Although, I wouldn't mind a service that Xbox has just provided? That new gambling game, you just buy the game and play with friends and stuff like that, it's not real money used, you just play games, win chips and then go up and up and up .

Any gambling game where there's no risk of money involved is pointless. For example, in Red Dead Redemption you gamble with ingame money that you can use for other stuff and that money can be gain by other methods throughout the game also. What you guys are proposing is for Sony to give credits so the gamers can gamble, but you have no method to gain more credits if you lose them, except waiting another month to get them back from Sony. And the credits by themselves don't have any other real possible uses, you can't buy an ingame horse, you just can keep on playing.

They wouldn't allow you trading free credits for psn stuff just like that unless you could "buy" the credits to gamble an that's where the law gets involved. Also, if free credits are given to every gamer, what stops someone making multiple accounts just to lose the credits to it's main account so they can trade them for stuff?
