Lost Planet 2 is a fun game and it has a lot of arcade style entertainment to it, but some of the (lack of) animation bothers me. Like, all the characters wear masks because it is easier to animate masks than to sync lips. It's also easier to match the voice acting across regions when the lips don't have to sync. The characters don't blink. The game cuts the screen to keep you from noticing but they never blink.

Red Dead Redemption is a great game all around.

Disgaea 3 is a pretty good JRPG with LOTS of re playability and replay value. Definatly worth a look into.

I have no idea if Demons Souls is considered a JRPG but its still none the less a great game all together.

If you're into PS classics, then you can pick up Legend Of Mana, Xenogears, Grandia, Vagrant Story and many other classic JRPG's for cheap on the psn store.

The common question! Battlefied 3 or Modernwarfare 3?
The answer! Whichever you already prefer lol.

For real though I think both will be great games and am more of a battlefield fan, but what game do you think will be more tournament worthy? I am talking about tournaments, competitions, money pay-outs, gamer-base, and more. Not necessarily what game is better or which one you prefer, but which game do you think is going to be in the tournament scene more?

I ask this because I feel like Battlefield has more variety and is evolving a lot more but MW games have always had the tournament scene pretty convincingly.

That's about it as far as I know... well, except Final Fantasy XIII-2 at the beginning of next year...

Splinter Cell is amazing. Were it not for MGS, Splinter Cell would be THE espionage game. It releases at 40 USD and I HIGHLY recommend it.

Yeah Splinter Cell is definitely worth getting. Fantastic trilogy.
