Thats not good. I cant afford a new one, and i cant back my saves up

Hey guys, I just tried going on the Store to re-download the Uncharted 2 DLC packs, and I keep getting Error Code 8071053D when I get on the Store, I know it has nothing to do with the latest update since I've bought things from the store since the update was released. Anyone know of a way to fix this
EDIT: Now it's not letting me sign in to PSN at all :/
EDIT #2: Fixed it, reconnected my PS3 to the modem, didn't work at first but tried again and it's back to normal.

ive been playing Red Dead Redemption for a few weeks and every now and then my PS3 will freeze, its dont it about 4 times in the last few weeks, i thought and hoped it was the game but my friend lent me Mafia II and after playing for 2 hours, it once agian froze

does anyone know whats going on and how to fix it?

Have you moved your PS3? I had that problem. I set up, and it was NAT 2 but when i moved rooms it changed to NAT 3, which wouldnt let me play games online

Is this my cap card or ps3?? It used to be fine before but now im getting lag... whats going on??

This sounds like a problem with the Blu-ray laser to me. I'm not too knowledgeable on such things though, so beyond you cracking it open and seeing if anything looks out of place, I can't offer much advice.

You might want to get an expert to look at it. I'm sure they could have a look at it with a minimal of fuss, or just send it to Sony.

Check the discs for scratches, it could be the PS3 is wrecking them. Alternatively try some DVD's, or maybe even some games which you downloaded from the store. That could help you narrow down the problem.

Again, I can't offer much advice beyond just keeping an eye on the PS3. Make sure you've got plenty of room and it's not full of dust. It could be a heating problem.

There are some videos I wanted to transfer to my ps3, they were WMV files, however the PS3 said they were unsupported files, can anyone tell me what files ARE compatible so I can convert them?

Take a look here. It does say that WMV are supported however, so if you still wish to keep them in WMV it may be worth converting them to something else then converting them back again.
