	Log in to remove this advertisement I was playing 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa on my PS3 this morning, when the game freezes. This game haz froze many times before and i had'nt worried about it to much. So i turn the switch of and back on again and after about 10 minutes of the screen being black, a message comes up, Cannot Start, Correct hard drive was not found. What do i do? Should i buy a new one or should i try and get it fixed? PLEASE HELP ME!!!

	Perhaps it froze mid saving and has corrupted your hard drive?? Puzzles me usually it would just corrupt the save for that game....hmmm ------------------- I will be here after dark, under streetlights.

	You turned it off from the switch at the back!?!?! BRO YOU DON'T DO THAT WELL ITS WRITING TO THE HARD DRIVE!!!!!! 	ive read up on this and apparently there may be a problem with the connection from your HD to your PS3. try taking the hd out and cleaning the contacts on both HD and inside the PS3 and reinsert and see if it starts up. -------------------

Well its a simple case of dust and crap getting on the connections and making it hard for the PS3 to read the HD. Its not really a console fault -------------------

	It still amazes me how many people turn it off from the switch. This is a major fail, you should NEVER do that, only if the system is already shut down & you want to turn it off standby. If your PS3 freezes, hold down the Power Button & it will do a Shutdown.
