I have been hearing about a mercenaries 3. When do you think it will come out? What could be added to make the game better than the second?

I think they need to improve just about everything, judging on how disappointing the second instalment was. Pandemic are too busy with the Saboteur to be thinking of the next Mercenaries.
If they are going to make one, it should have an engaging story, much better graphics, an online service that actually works, removal of all glitches and gameplay hinderances. -------------------  | |

I would like more cars. Like Bulldozers or submarines. A longer story line would be nice to. They had a lot of the same bombs from the original mercenaries. GET MORE IDEAS!!!

Quite frankly they should never make another Mercenaries game ever again. The second installent was one of, if not, the worst games I have ever played.

Pandemic have had a patchy track record. The Star Wars Battlefront series for PS2 was unbelievably good, but Mercs 2 and Lord of the Rings: Conquest were 5 out of 10s at best.
I have great faith in Pandemic, and think that Saboteur will be a sleeper hit. Damn, they just need to get another Battlefront game out there  ------------------- | |

Well, they had Battlefront 3 going for a little while, but then all the leaked concept vids were pulled and the project, from what we know, has gone under. Which isn't surprising since BF3 was being handled by Free Radical, who went belly-up due to the incredible shortcomings of Haze (which had the potential to be a great multiplayer shooter, if not for the fact it was rushed out the door rather quickly).

Then it would probably be good, i promised myself i would trade Mercs 2 in once i Platinumed it. but i still have it, i think apart from how long it takes to fall to earth and multiplayer connection problems its still a fine game. i also hated the trophy description for using 20 airstrikes in coop, ha it actually means 20 DIFFERENT airstrikes, took me ages to figure it out

It has been confirmed that EA have closed Pandemic Studios. Sucks really, but EA gave the developers the resources they needed to make triple-A titles, and they squandered it :/

To be a swan song Pandemic's name really has to be on the box and I don't think it will be. EA Montreal are finishing up this game and they will probably finish with the development credits on the box.
