Does anybody know where they sell cheap Sixaxis / Dualshock 3's?

£35 For a controller is jsut too expensive considering Assassins creed 2 will be cheaper next week.

Both of my Sixaxis' are ruined, one of them, for example on MW2, my guy will just walk to the right, no matter which way i point the analog. And my other controller on MW2 again my guy will inch forward ever so slowly.

So yeah, anybody know where?

also how come 360 controllers are £20 and wii controllers are £25+ but DS3's are £35!.

This is in the UK btw.

And there is no craigslist for my area, as far as i know...

I have found a twin pack of Sixaxis ( New, but not the DUalshock 3's) for £35, so i may go for that, but even then that is still expensive.

What I did was trade in games for a second controller. I gave in two games which I had bought with a bargain (paid £20 for killzone 2 and £17 for deadspace,) and paid an extra £6 to get a sixaxis.

Jasey, if you think your controllers are absolutely wrecked, try taking them apart, and messing around a little with the analog sticks; it may fix them at no cost whatsoever.

Already have done, The one i use now has the analog stick off center to the front a tiny bit, and the other one is just Spooned up.

Gonna try to melt the solder off of the Analog stick and take it off and have a poke around.

Might not do of any use though.

You never know, it could just change things. One of my old Six Axis controllers has the same problem, but that is due to the fact that it was tucker beneath a chest of drawers which forced the analog stick to turn upwards

dude dont waste your money if its not dualshock 3

on another note i was thinking about getting another controller for offline co-op games, but there arent that many co-op games out there that arent online

the only one i can think of is modern warfare 2, is there anything else that would make getting another controller worth it

I could do with finding out where to get a cheap controller too. Had to mess about with my Dualshock3 the other day as my L2 and R2 buttons were messed up something rotten. Just had to realign the buttons inside the controller and away I went.

I'd say the exact opposite. If you need a controller and don't want to pay top dollar, don't get a DS3. They're more expensive. You can still get a quality controller if you stick with the old SIXAXIS.

Dude, what makes the DialShock 3 better than the Sixaxis? Also, I've been hearing a lot of problems with the DS3, does it really have that much of a failure ratio? BTW the wii controllers are more expensive, because to play most games you will need a Nunchuk and the Wuimote so this will be around 37 euros which is a bit more expensive

I have had mt DS3 for the best part of a year, and it hasn't broken down on me. It's a little heavier than the regular controller, and the rumble feature is definately worth having in my opinion.

yea exactly! controllers without rumble is absurdity this day and age.

i have not had any problems with my DS3 ive had it as long as ive had my Ps3 slim
