So while organizing my games, I looked at how much I had. I realized I had twice as much PS3 games as I did PS2 games, which for some reason shocked me. So I decided to add up the total cost.

Holy *bleep*! Thats including the PS3 as well, but not games that I either rented or sold. Thats also not including the tax on each. Thats also DL games as well.And I do plan on spending another 300 in the coming months. When you add it up. its insane how much we spend on gaming, damn.

You'd also have to count my TV too, because the only reason I bought it is because I have a PS3 (and the 360 too I guess, but that was more incidental)....PS3 has blu-ray player and all that >_>

I only paid for a bit under half the TV though, the rest was a B-Day+X-mas present from my dad a couple or so years ago >_>

I don't have as many games as some people....Combining PS2, PS3, 360, PSP, PC, and DS games, I've probably spent....$1500+ myself, plus all the games in the PS2 era that I bought and traded back for at a loss >_> I don't rent much though.

Add in the TV (approx half), PS3, and PSP (DS and 360 were gifts), I've probably spent an additional....$1200+ Canadian?

So, in total, $2700+ with what I've currently got, it might be an overestimate, but you also have to account for old games traded in ages ago.....Either way, it's probably over $3000 >_>

Without the TV though, well, that'd go down about $600 let's say.

A little over a month ago, I tallied up my PSN charges (PS3 games, PSone classics, Home, PSEye) and came up with $383. I'm gonna just add $50 to that since then, so $433. I've bought 28 disc games at $65 a piece average, which is $1820. PS3 was $500 when I bought it, and I'm not going to include the new model price because I sold my original for it. So..

Well I have over 150 PS2 games.So say 100 were bought full price, that's $10,000+.


I have 55 PS3 games so that's around at least $5,000.



So two consoles alone I have spent at least $15,000+

Well, depending on what you paid on average for each game, plus the systems themselves....Yeah, it would probably be around....

well I'm really picky about gaming so let's see

400$ for PS3
400$ for HDCP compatible monitor
35$ for speakers
700$ average for a total of 20 traded, bought, downloaded games.

(I rarely buy on release dates, I wait until they drop in price and I trade a lot)

which adds up to roughly 1535$

The question is, would I get that money back if I could, to spend it on something else? The answer is a big, fat NO
