ave never bothered about them because they always just looked like crash bandicoot with a mask on and a shiny ps3 symbol to boot, and tbh a bit childish but u guys keep going on about them, is there a good plot storyline to the games?

The first one isn't to different you describe, I loved it anyway (something charming about it) but the two games which follow really turned it up to 11, Jak and Daxter drink, make deals with criminals, swear, use guns and make a sexual reference nearly every cutscene. Hardly kiddy. And the plots in Jak 2 and 3 are some of the best I've seen yet.

Not another FPS, I hope. There have been way too many FPS games coming out in the past few months. Another Jak and Daxter would be nice. Maybe a whole new stealth series by Hideo?

I am convinced that this wont be another Jak game, however if it that'd be cool. I am hoping for something completely new as long as it doesn't include a peripheral (unless it was something like a wireless lightsaber). This game has to be inventive yet remain interesting and has to have online compatability to be MAJOR.

I just went to my local Gamestore. I wanted to ask him about this situation, he has some inside information.

He told me that the new PS3 exclusive, will be a game by Team Ico. He sweared it on his grave. So according to him (and most of the time he is right about these things, but don't point fingers at me, when it turns out not to be true)
this will be a Team Ico game.

Then he said that seeing that this game will be major, he thought that the game will be a sequel, but he isn't sure if it is going to be an Ico 2 or a SotC 2.

So to sum it up. It will be a Team Ico game, but it is not sure if it will be a brand new game or a sequel to Ico or SotC.

What are you guys hoping for ?

May I ask how come can a guy from a Gamestore know inside information? Don't take it offensively, I'm just curious.

Ico doesn't stand for anything, it's just Ico.

SotC was (is) a brilliant game, Collosus battles like that on PS3 would be epic. I hope if it is a SotC sequel they go nuts and give us like 50 Collossi to conquer.

Ico was alright, not much else to do after you've played through it once though.

If they announce a damn Jak and Daxter game I'm gonna shoot myself.

They won't don't worry. While I would do cartwheels if they did, the JAK series just isn't big enough to fit the bill of a major new PS3 exclusive, just because of the few scattered fans of the previous titles like me.
