	I think a thread could be made sticky with the seperate versions of the PS3's that are out. You tend to find a lot of duplicate threads regarding backwards compatibility and questions on the 20GB, 40GB, 60GB & 80GB. So would it be possible to have one? may stop all those multiple threads which ask the same question all the time.

	We can't have a sticky for every minor question that comes up now. Eventually we will have nothing but stickies. However if you would like to create a thread with the pertanient information in a convient layout then I will certainly consider it. 	Well, I was refering to Jack Bergin's suggestion about an Ipod sticky in the previous thread and now this one. I'm fine with information threads. 	Yeah, I agree that there shouldn't be too many information threads. There should be as few as possible. I think that this idea is more worthy of a sticky than mine, it being directly related to the PS3. And you can call me Jack.

	I was thinking of making a thread containing simple hints for new PS3 owners, such as how to reset video output settings etc. just basic things they may not know. It could be made as a sticky; hopefully that way the amount of suplicate threads for small issues will go down. Whaddayathink? If it's a good idea, I'll make it tomorrow. It's a little early in the morning to be making it right this minute. ------------------- gone

	I see what you mean, but I mean the very little things that people ask about so often, pretty much the bare basics. You'd be surprised how many threads I've seen while scanning around this forum (past and present) that're pretty much identical. I don't just don't see the point of around 10 threads created on the same thing in the space of a month like we've had before when they can have it answered without cluttering up the forum. I don't think it negates the idea of debate, because this forum doesn't thrive on talk about such basic things, people come here to discuss big news and games in my experience. 	I see what you mean. Like the iPod threads, it's just unnecessary cluttering of the forum. For the very small questions, this is a great idea. Perhaps a frequently asked questions thread?
