	There is no OFFICIAL date as to when it will be released. The unconfirmed dates that we are looking at is either June 10th/18th. Sony is possibly keeping this a secret and will not truly release a confirmed date. Rather, they will just release it as a surprise.

	They wanted to do it before mgs4, And i've heard the 10th thrown around alot. MY friend said he heard a story that it may be pushed back as far as july though. -------------------

	Take any information you hear as a grain of salt. Nothing is confirmed and nothing will be confirmed. Sony more than likely has this firmware update all ready to go. They love to make people wait for releases, so I see no difference in this situation. It will be released when they feel like releasing it.

	There's now a suggestion that says 2.40 has been delayed till July. There's so many freaking dates thrown around concerning 2.40. ------------------- Life is a privilege and you don't deserve it!

	There is really just to much speculation going around about this update. Truth be told it isn't just te date that should be taken with a grain of salt but any and all information that doesn't come directly from Sony.
