I have a friend that just uses Noob all the time, and all he does is his uppercut move, or wait for me to get near him.

I use Sub-Zero, and whatever I try, he ends up uppercutting me. Any help is appreciated.

Use long range moves or wait for him to get close to you first?

Try using ices clones to fall back on and then use the freeze blast or ic pillar to freexe him and then use a mellee combo, grab or use my personal favourite; Cold Shoulder: <- -> O

I just use 8 way run against noobs that play this way and i happen to trick them instead with moves that will hit a crouching opponent.
