	What are you using right now? That might help in getting things rolling. Prosumer level cameras can actually be found quite cheap on eBay and as long as they're in working condition and have a promise to not be DOA they're a good buy. I would say consider these for future models: Sony Kodak Nikon Canon Kodak eats batteries like mad in their higher end models, it's a trade though because they have some crazy levels of zoom and very nice manual settings on those models. -------------------

Depends on the model, the general population Kodak builds are average at best, the Z series or MAX series have a ton of features although battery life still sucks with it. Used Canon models go for decent rates online with a lot of potential. especially if firmware hacks can be applied. -------------------

	There are plenty of budget compact digital cameras available in the market these days. Popular brands you may consider are Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Pentax and Samsung. If you can stretch your budget all the way up to £100, then I suggest you go for Samsung MV800. Just check its features and specs and see if they met your needs. Always be sure to see if the unit does have the features you want beforehand.
