Turbo Trance |
|
I've had and tested an incredible revelation. The vast majority of trance decay happens because of animations slowing down the battle. The nice thing is that in wait mode you can freeze the AT gages by going into the right menu. Do so long enough for the animations to play out and you should be able to cast about thirty spells off a single trance.

Hey Medinus,he means that if you set the battle settings to "Wait"in the Config menu, you can take all the time you want when choosing spells/targets/items in a battle, since time practically stops during the time you make your selections.
Do you understand now? | |

From the name, I was expecting this to be about the way you can maintain Trance for an entire battle regardless of how long it takes. Apparantly, I was wrong.

Well say someone uses holy in battle or another long spell. If Terra is in trance the animation for the spell takes so long her trance gauge goes down a lot. But if you go in the menu on wait mode and not even take an action it will not deplete at all during the animation.
