Works for me, on my dell 8400. Afterburner doesn't work on my XP Gateway laptop, though.

That can be solved easily enough by playing in one of the compatibility modes. Or by getting FS2_Open.

Works fine for me too, but it won't read my joypad at all (USB). Had to use an oldschool two-button joystick instead. ------------------- "I've crossed the 2 million hits mark on youtube, without the use of chocolate rain, O-Zone, zoo animals, defunct ninjas, paranoid field animals, pr0n, or flash advertising. I tried to install Freespace 2 on my XP machine and I would get corrupt text. All the text would have random little bnars and dots coming off of and sorrounding it. The screen on the ship view, you know the terminal place or whatever, the briefing room, and all other places that were not in-flight had little lines through it as if there were sections of it that were not quite touching together. Any ideas? I had the same problem for Freespace 1.
