	my afterburner button seems to work but it engages the burner for only half a second.. which isn't any good... any idea how to fix this?

	i think you need to run the fs2.exe in compatibility mode for windows 98

	Actually this does absolutely nothing for me! I have an inspiron 5160, running XP. I have tried all the compatibility modes but nothing seems to fix this problem for either the laptop keyboard or the external one.

	Same thing for me. Afterburner doesn't work on my laptop (XP) but does work on my desktop. Any ideas why?

	If compatibility mode doesn't work, you could use FS2_Open.

	i've apply the compatibility mode for w98. it works. afterburners work real good.

	In the old PC, a 2000' AMD athlon with WinXP it worked well, in the new PC Intel Core 2 Duo e6420 with WinXp didn't work. Win 98 compatibility mode fix the problem . Thank you very much, jimmybob.
