	I looked on some website recently and Eric NYlund had a book coming out called "The ghosts of coral" and it said it was going to be released this year. This is a halo book and i think it maybe the fourth book, Has anyone else heard anythin else about this??

	Yep, it's the fourth book, that is the working title. There's supposed to be more information coming out on the book in a week or two from Bungie.

	It's seems he didn't write The Flood because he felt it would be to hard. He said fans would be angry if he didn't write it following the game, and others would be angry if he did follow the game. quote Eric Nylund I knew the second novel would be a difficult project, covering the events of the game. 	Well, if he still thinks this, then there is a good chance that the fourth book won't follow Halo 2. It would be before or after. It could even be a prequel, but that's doubtful.

	There is possibility that the fourth book may take place during Halo 2, but with the other Spartans. One of those 'meanwhile elsewhere' stories. If this was so then it would answer alot of questions about the ending of Halo 2, cause Earth was in shambles from the appearance of space.

	Well, it seems that the fourth book will come out in November, 2006. The title is Ghosts of Onyx. Published by Tor. It also says that Tor will publish two other Halo novels later on, but there will be more news on that later it seems. More information is coming out in a week or two. Source
