After a bit of hunting around I found the patch to get Blair Witch Volume 1: Rustin Parr to run on Windows XP.

extract the contents of the zip into the game folder and the game will work on Win XP. I found it on the following page:

I see lots of people were looking for this patch so I hope this helps

Downloaded the patch onto my desktop, what do I do then, as I still get the same problem

Just in case ya still don;'t know, once you have downloaded the BW patch for XP to your pc, you must put it in the correct place in order for it to work!

Go to: C:\Program Files\Terminal Reality\Blair Witch Volume One - Rustin Parr (put the file in here!) (You must make sure you have unzipped it first of course)

(To unzip just right click on file and select unzip to this folder) -Must have winzip of course!

phew, thank god someone found a working xp patch, i've been everywhere trying to find one ^.^

anyone think it's strange that Nocturne works fine on windows xp but blair witch dousn't, considering Nocturne is the engine Blair Witch is using?
