how do you get all the boxes in cold hard crash???

i've gotten all the boxes so far, until i get to the extra level with the skull face on the platform. there are lots of boxes there, but when i finish that extra level, it drops me down to the next place. how do i get all the boxes by doing the extra level?

Um, I don't think that that was what he was meaning.

This is what he meant, I think:

You get the checkpoint next to the bonus platform thing that you can't do if you die, then finish it all until you get to the "!" box at the end. Go all the way back through the bonus section, and you'll find that there is a life crate in the part where there were eight boxes, (four stacked on top of another four, suspended in mid-air,) keep going back until you get to the platform that takes you to the secret area in the first place and jump on it, then continue the level as normal.

Hi. The trick is to get all the boxes on the death route, but not to fall down at the end. Get the green exclamation box at the end of the death route; but stop BEFORE you fall of the end. You then have to go back to where you started the death route and hop back on the skull and it will then take you back to where you hopped on. Note: If you now die before the next checkpoint, you will need to do death stage again; so try not to die before you get to the next C.

Isn't there a box you can't see because it's in a shadow on the bonus level?

I have all the boxes, took me one hell'uva long time though.

That caused me trouble, and frustration before.

This was quite the hardest gem to get actually.

you don't just backtrack the death track to get the extra box you jump back on the death mover thing that brought you to that area and then continue the level like normal because there are boxes in the normal area on the way down to that checkpoint in the end area and continuing through the death track doesn't allow you to get these.

So if you didn't understand that when you're in the death track and you backtrack to get that extra box, continue backtracking to the start of the death track, jump on the thing that brought you there and then continue to your right and down there are some extra boxes there and then that will take you (eventually) to another drop where you'll end up at a checkpoint (the same checkpoint that you would have ended up at if you just went down the drop at the end of the death track)
