I'm one of the few people who really enoy this game. Sure, its not the best CV game, but its still good. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the game and I liked Carrie. It was nice to see a female role in a CV game.

I got the game with a bunch of others for a cheap price, and while I did have a lot of fun with it, it got to the point where it just wasnt really worth my time for some reason. I dunno why it just seemed to get a tad boring, even somewhat repetitive after a while (and I only got to the end of the villa level before stopping...). Usually I have the patience for slower paced stuff (I play LOTS of RPGS) but it just got kinda repetitive and the puzzle solving seemed a lot more like guess work than actual thinking (I mean, after I went and talked to the rose girl, how was I supposed to know at what time I had to go back to the room to meet the vampire hunter?)

It's a good game, but I think I tried to play to much of it in one sitting (well actually 2, 1 for the first level 1 for the second), I'll probably pick it up again in a bit.

Me too, I really enjoyed playing it, every bit of it, since, back then, I've been waiting for so long for a game like that to come around on 64. Vampires are great, and the characters are awsome, and most of them very mistyrious. (like the selling demon, the frankenstein gardener, or the "Van Helsing" guy.)

I also loved some (but not all) of the riddles, like the one where you have to be in the flower room at a special time to see the ghost.

Only thing that sucked, was, that I started playing it in easy and the game suddently stopped have way... whats with that?

Still, great game.

Yeah, its a good game, but ou gotta give it all to Symphony Of The Night! It hold the title for best CV game of all time!

I've heard that all the castlevanias games r great n I played 1 N it was 1 of the best nintendo games I've ever player along side with pokemon blue

I still have the game, and I like playing it, but it get repetetive after a level 1 or two; just like one of guys said. The climbming is what gets to me, up n up n up and if you die you have to do it all over again.

Note to self: do not become a mountain climber!
