Does anyone know where the Bone Gauntlets are? I can find every piece of armour for all the other sets, but not Bone.

Also In Hythloth, there is an area you can open with lots of valve wheels to turn, when you turn them lights turn on. There is another gate here, but I can't open it,anyone know what to do here?

For those who don't know where this area is, head out of the room with the teleportor to the passage leading outside then turn left, there is a box on the wall. It is locked, but the key is in the drain in the room next to the one with the teleporter, just turn the valve and pick it up. Press the switch in the box once you have opened it to make the wall slide away.

Finally does anyone know how to open the Chest on Skara Brea without being a Ranger, if I answer truthfully I end up being a Bard, this time I have fiddled the cards and am a Ranger, but still it would be nice to know.

Hi I don´t know where the bone Gautnlets are but I do know the rest.
First at Skara brae: The chest on the beach You go to Q - X and pull over the black rock helm and gloves to your inventory
The Hythloth extended dungeon: The extended dungeon is optional you don´t have to go through is but if you must it´s very difficult
You'll find a chamber with 4 divider walls and 2 locked portcullis. By turning the valves on the walls, you activate white or red lights in the corridors. You must turn them on in a particular order to open the gates. Some valves turn off lights, and when a valve turns off a light, it turns its own light off too. On the left side are the white lights, the right side has red lights. The order on the left (white) side is East, North, South, then West; and on the right (red) side the order is West, North, South then East. Hope this helps!!

I did want to start a knew topic so I posted on this one.

In the Gythloth dungeon, how do you get onto the platform that comes down when you turn the valve? I've tried everything I can think of, but because I'm in water, I can't jump onto it and its to high to swim onto.

have the platform come all the way down? If it has you need to swim all the way to it using the swamp boots that you find in the same area and try try again until you get on it. There is nothing else you can do. If the plat form isn´t all the way down you need to turn the valve again and wait till it´s all the way down.

You have to turn the wheel twice to get it into the water, and when you swim over to it press 'C' to climb up.

The bone gauntlets are in Samhayne's house. Try clicking on the iron maiden in his library, then a ladder should come down by the entrance. Up that ladder is a desk, and under that desk are the gauntlets. Finally, as if that we're enough, they're invisible, so use Z targetting to see them or cast ethereal sight.
