[Fanfic]The Wyvern Eye.

This is my second fanfic the last one i kinda gave up on cus i was getting no feedback.

Chapter 1:A Problem Not Worth Solving?A Big Mistake!


"Yeah i heard that too!"exclaimed the villager,"gods I hope someone keeps us safe from them!"

"Safe from what?"asked Johnny as he passed the man."Why?Havn't you heard there's a group of velocipreys led by a larger Drome not far from here prowling the farms and killing livestock?"."Really?Hmmmm, it's not worth my time!"."What do you mean?"asked the villager,"you're a hunter aren't you?Don't you want your village to remain safe?"

"My village?I'm not from around here and i came looking for big money!Drop me a line when you people have somthing good for me like a rathalos or somthing similar!"

"Pig...."muttered the villager,but Johnny picked it up.In one lightning fast movement he drew his sword,a golden falchion and put it to the mans neck."Please!!!Don't hurt me!"

There were screams of panic from the villagers and guards closed in on Johnny.Johnny said "You piss me off again, and i won't run next time!" to the villager and took off down the road,but one guard took out his bowgun and shot a specilised stunning shot at johnny.It struck his back and he fell to the ground paralyzed.

Johhny awoke in a prison cell that night.He had been having a bad dream and his eyes shot open.He took in his surroundings.Strangly the cell door was haning open off it's hinges.

There was a smell of death and decay coming from all angles.
Johnny creeped out of his cell to search for his armour,which was coincidently next door in a confiscation room.His golden falchion was also there.

Then there was a scream and he shot outside the room to see a guard backed against a wall.The guard saw Johnny,"YOU!HUNTER!HELP....".At his last words a velociprey leaped into view and drove his sharp teeth into the guards neck.He fell limp on the ground.Johnny leaped forward and sliced off the prey's arm with his falchion.It's screams of pain were silenced when Johnny decapitated the beast.

He bounded down the corrider,took a left,up a long flight of stairs,down another corrider and out of the village keep.

"Oh gods....."Johnny exclaimed.What he saw made him regret not helping that villager.

ok next chapter.

Johnny looked opon the village.There were corpses eveywhere,villagers running around aimlessly thrying to save themselves from the hundred or so velociraptors that had invaded their home and slaughtered eveythinhg.

It seems a few on the villagers terms meant this many,and one drome meant five.

Three prey suddenly broke of from their rampage to charge at Johnny,who spun around and cut the first twos' necks with his sword.Johnny then dodged a claw from the third and drove his sword down it's mouth.

Johnny then ran towards the town square where a group of guards were trying to defend some villagers packed up against a fountain kicking and screaming as if their life depended on it, which it did.

Johnny attempted to help but then a rather large velocidrome jumped over a nearby wall and landed right infront of him.It's teeth beared it lunged and Johnny,who sidestepped and slashed at the creatures neck.

This wounded the drome,who proceeded to let out a cry of distress,at which seemingly out of nowhere 6 velocipreys closed in on johnny.However Johnny saw and escape route,he ran at the drome and put his feet forward,slid under its legs and slashed at it's belly.Johnny then sprung to his feet and ran into a nearby building.The prey could not fit through the tiny door.The buildng turned out to be a felnyx house however and the residents were none to pleased at being rudley awakened.

"Who are you?!Oh who cares?GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!"roared the largest felnyx,who was a male and no higher then Johnnys knee."Shhh keep quite,the village is under attack".At that sentance it seemed the prey and their drome backed off from the door.They had finally given up."OK i think we're safe in here.The preys can't seem to get into your small house"."What?......veloci...preys? here?".At that precise moment the drome let out a cry from outside,and he must of given some mighty leap because seconds later he came crashing through the fragile wall feet first."RUN!I'LL HOLD HIM OFF!"

All of sudden Johnny felt strange inside,he had never helped anyone before unless it was in his best intrests,and now he was saving a family of....felynxs?Not to mention risking his own life.

However that didn't matter because wheter he like it or not h had to face off against the drome.You see Johnny was a bit of a hoax.He would travel around searching for hunter jobs that could pay a lot, ask to be paid in advance and then come back injured,but he'd fake it and still be able to keep the cash.Sure velociprey weren't a problem for him,and he had slain maybe one drome but Johnny wasn't a true hunter,and his armour and falchion were his father's,who had been rich and famous for being such a great hunter, Johnny in a way had money too,but only through trikery and deceit.

At these thoughts Johnny saw this as a chance to prove himself,and with a deafeaing cry he charged at the drome.
