Okay here's what i do to get ancient weapons, people keep saying to do quests and try again but i think that way is a stupid piece of crap, I get mega pickaxes, duh, go to the volcano, mine in number 4, 3, and 8 unless your trying to get other ores too, which are always useful, but the mining points in the other areas don't give up nearly as many AS and this is faster, remember to bring a farcaster to get back to the base quicker, yay you got ancient stones, yippie skippie. go back to town and polish all your ancient stones, if you didn't get any worn weapons go mining again, the more ancient stones the better, if you did get a worn weapon but it wasn't what you wanted, eg. worn hammer instead of worn blades, turn off the game and come back in. now if you got the worn weapon on, say, your third polish, then this time you want your third polish to be a dual sword, and viola, worn blades.
