	You know, I've found using IotG on kirin to be quite effective. It falls over every few clusts, and then I rush up to it and set a LBB+. 	Theoratically, the best way to kill a kirin is a sanctioned gunhammer on its horn. 	Every time I've successfully killed the Kirin, I used the Guild Knight Sabers. I'm not sure how much difference the Water damage makes, but I prefer the Knight Sabers over the Gradios Ultimus, since the Sabers have better sharpness. Against a Kirin, you need all the sharpness you can get. What area does the HR2 Kirin stay in? And is he in the Jungle as well? I can't be bothered to take quests on in the guild until the thing shows up, so I want to know if I'll have to deal with not being able to see him half the time (stupid undergrowth). I need to take the quest on sometime so I can get materials to upgrade my Kirin Bolt Mega to Kirin Bolt Ultimus, which is hopefully the last SnS upgrade before I can make it into Dual Blades. -------------------

	Kirin is equally weak to water and fire, so you'll have a good time with corpse blades. Until then guild knight sabers will be the best. The elder kirin is in the jungle, while the guild HR2 kirin is in the swamp. The elder kirin stays in only one area, while the HR2 kirin moves through the swamp areas. how do you make the guild knight sabers again- -?...how come I don't have the option of them...or is it an upgrade from some other sword?.... anyway I know this is "Killing a Kirin", not "Killing Kirins"...but I guess here is the right one correct?....I wanna kill those 2 gigantic Kirins in this quest Thunder and Lightning(although they are bigger then kut-kus...so scary).... now in Gamefaq they sad I've got a chance of not letting 2 of them see me....then I found out it was totally impossible- -"(unless I read the guide wrong...lol). Anyway the two kirin saw me and started to slice me up...now I was meant to use Shining Wyvern Blade but for some reason I have no idea if I'm salshing the kirin or not...maybe its because the background is lava or something the blood doesn't stand out...so I changed it to Blazing falchion....which worked pretty well..managed to knocked both of them down 3 times... ok here is the thing...how in gods name do you do this quest?...its nearly impossible(for me at least...lol)...for 80% of the time I was running with my mega juice on....and once I'm attacked by those annoying charge of kirin...I lose so much health(not that many but still alot...), when ever I take a potion there's a 90% chance I might get attacked a just die of low health... so yah...any tips on the quest--?

	OMFG, I just beat him in 20 minutes, and it was my first ever time versing him. I hadn't even died! This is good! He was moderately hard, unparalleled to Rathalos. He just has really strong attacks, thats all. If you co-ordinate it properly, you should be able to win! Damn bleeping quest only appears randomly, even after you beat it... >_> ------------------- Yin ♥

	I use Blazing Falchion and just slash him till he dies! Bring potions and herbs/muchrooms and Immunizer. Also I find Flashes don't work on him.

You know when you get hit, the red thing appears and it slowly regenerates to green? Well Imuniser makes so the red Doesn't appear in the first place! So it saves you potions. Very use-full against Kirins! Oh, and your right. I have Blazing Falchion, and I have full Kirin Armour, so with 10 potions, maybe a few small barrel bombs, Kirin are pretty easy! Make sure you have plenty of Stamina though. Kirin is weak against fire most, and cannot be flashed. Hope that helped. Edit: Aug 21, 08
