all i do is when they charge run to the side to miss him i dont bother attacking it then but wait fro him to fireball run up to them and slash until he goes back to normal stance

hey iv been wondering can you defeat a rathalos with a golem blade ?????

Last time i fought with 5* guild rathalos and killing him took me almost 45min is it normal?? I had eternal strife and i thought he die faster. He was big size so thats why he was so vital?? Elder rathalos and rathian(troublesome pair) with eternal strife took me about 25 min. Is the wyverns so strong or i'm wrong??

oh and before you go for the head take off the tail and wing clips! personal experience is that they go down around 2mins quicker for each part you destroy before hacking the head - and with white sharpness u can do tail in 4 chops and wings 3 each

i wish you could lol - but u need to kill 7star khezus to get the thunder sacs!! its prob the weapon i use most.. that and shiny firesword! eager cleaver plus has such low sharpness i didnt upgrade my e.c until i cud get d.s and skip the e.c plus

Ok i've just finished the HR1 3* village elder quests, and i need to kill the Los to move onto the 4* quests.

I have a PBA, and i have Blue Kut Ku Plate, vambraces and tasset, with Ioprey boots and helmet for extra fire protection. I am bringing 10 potions, 10 herbs, 10 mega potions, etc.

I have no problem fighting the Los, i can dodge his attacks, i can deal out the damage, by aiming at his head.

My main problem is time. When i first started the quest it put me in a cut scene in area 3 where he kills the herbivore. I only had time to paintball him before he flew to area 9. When i got to area 9, i hit him just as he was taking off, and he flew to area 10. At area 10, the same thing happened, and he went back to area 9.

Then i didn't even have time to hit him, he flew straight to area 4. In area 4 he started fighting a bit, and without conceding much damage, i must have hit his head at least 15-20 times. he then flew to area 5 where he began to sleep, so i started attacking his head.

Be then flew AGAIN to area 4, and from there on he kept on flying away, and my paintball had expired just as he left area 4. This went on for at least 20 minutes, without me getting a chance to hit him at all. Then in the last 10 minutes, he flew to area 5, he fell asleep, i kept hitting him as before. Then he flew through 4, 9, 10 and back again, and went back to sleep at 5 (not managing to hit him in his little journey). After i hit him, he flew straight up and went to area 6, where he just hovered on the side of the mountain (by then there was like only 2 minutes left)

I have tried fighting him twice and he has done similar things both times. The reason the Kut Ku and Gypceros were easy is because they stayed to fight for a decent amount of time. The Rathalos just flies away every chance it gets.

Any tips to stop it flying away? Its really getting on my nerves...

EDIT: Should i try using my GS or maybe my Lance?

(p.s. i have the English version, so i can't get Garuga armour just yet because its too hard to kill, i can't use the glitch... )

EDIT: I just did it, with about 1 minute to spare, how do people do it in like 5 minutes? it seems impossible... Unless the European version is harder i don't know why, i'll see what my mates say because they've already done it, i'll see how long it took them.

oh and i have the same game version as u lol - and im done except 6 grank quests - so its possible to finish the game solo on that version hehe! and i should be able to beat crimson fatalis but havent yet grr
