	the only way is to beat him and remember roughly how much you hurt it. . which lao is it?and are you trying to repel it or kill it? the thread below has some ideas on damaging lao heavily. -------------------

	The elder lao can be killed with eternal strife as adam said. . or any strong dual swords. the guild laos really require grank weapons to kill! if you want advice just ask im often here lol! if you like g.s use the lao parts to make dragonsword. -------------------

	id ont like g.s. mostly i use s&s im good with s&s so: S&S=good D.S=not good, not bad hammer=irritating G.S=nope

	e. schism- you will get this only when you polish ancient stone(g-ranked ruststone). BTW i can't repel 5* guild Lao (urgent quest), could you give me some advices.And it's weird you repeled him with quite weak weapon cause i can't repel him with e. strife. -------------------

	eternal strife has a thread in the index - ive explained many times lol. umm i like garuga s armour for the sharpening skill and earplug. . to kill a lao armour that sharpens quick or has high earplug or high windpress is useful. . get used to d.s ul. . . -------------------
