how to kill a khezu

Actually the best way is to use a Fire attributed weapon, when i just started i used a Babaroi Blade ( G-sword) hope this post helps.

Why do you need so many things to kill a khezu?(white one)

list of items to bring:
10 Potions
3 megapotions (In case of emergency)
5 paintbombs
2 well done steaks
5 whetstones

What to bring:
Poison battle axe or any Sword and Shield really. I guess if you have a fire weapon or something you could bring that, but the poison battleaxe has served me well against the khezu.
best thunder-resistant armor you have (you don't really have to go buy some, just take what you've got. Thuder resist->then defense if you don't have that)

Method:
Quickly learn his moves. Dodge like a pro.

When he starts to make blue light in his mouth, move to his sides, he's about to thunderball in front of him. Right after he does this you have enough time to hit him in the side for a bit.
When he starts to glow blue all over, get away from him. If you touch his body, Damage Ahoy!
He'll often try to Jump/pounce on you, so his sides are the best place to stay safe. When you think its safe, go for a full 5-6 hit combo then back away. every time you think you have a chance, do as much damage as possible to him as is safe to do so.
When he's crawling on a roof, just don't go under him.
Paintball him every so often so you don't lose him (hate that)
Whetstone when need be, Meat yourself when need be, kick his ass always.
