Old School Arcade Games - Page 4

Cheers man anychance you can tell me where i can find an arcade machine for this game or should i just give up loooking

Well I remember Joust. I saw it at the mall back down in San Antonio. I wanted to play it because it looked kewl, but then again, I had no quarters and no one will let me play. I also like the old MegaTouches, though it has a lack of spectacular games and graphics like MegaTouch Diamond or whatever the newest version was it is still great. I especially like playing Breaking Bricks, Tri Towers, and 11-up on it.

Yeah early nineties and then elevator action 2 came out which I think was a lot better in the mid 90s. I couldnt find a pic of that arcade.

Ah...remember that game I do! It was simply called "Kangaroo", an old platform title from the early 1980s. Your description of the gameplay sounds about right.

I don't know if this necessarily counts as old school, but Aliens vs. Predator was always my favorite arcade game. It was basically a Final Fight type of scrolling beat em up game but it was awesome. You could be one of two predators, or a human guy or girl. There was room for three different players to play at once. For some reason I was always the girl (it's my icon right now) and I did better than all my teammates. Anyway, that's my favorite arcade game of all time.

Latley when I get tired of playin Guitar Freaks or Drummania, I will go play some Tetris or Pac man with my girlfriend.
