To elaborate on the combo you gave me Sheepy:
Kara-karakusa(command throw),HP,SAII,super jump into MK Tsurugi (airborne axekick), then juggle with two Hayate's (QCF punch moves).

There is a more advanced version that goes like this:
kara-karakusa, HP, SAII, dash towards and MP, SAII, superjump MP tsurugi, dash towards, low punch, dash towards, low punch, dash towards, lowpunch, dash towards then cancel a low punch into an EX Fukiage (standing dragonpunch). Opponent is stunned and you've earned another Gauge to slap them around with.

I've done it once against Ryu, its ridiculous.

I don't get how you can play with Q, Kyo. He is so slow -_-; And getting all 3 taunts early in the game must leave you vulnerable a lot.

Q is lame Makoto will whoop his ass any day of the week. Bring it, Daikun.

I only started playing about 6 months ago, but I have pretty much got parrying down decently. Problem is, the people I play have been playing for (at least) 3 to 5 years. So yeah, I am a noob in every sense of the word (I wasn't even an arcade fighting game player before this game so its not like I had any experience).

I use the Hyper Fireball Ryu style (SA1, dedicated to Hypers rather than the super). I use a really pokey style of gamely, and get in Joudan combos when possible (EX, obviously) to chop big chunks of life away. I also bait a lot of parrys, since a LP shoryuken from Ryu is quite powerful, or even a c.mk x lk/ mk tatsumaki or joudan combo works well (though I am not always quick enough on the cancel). I know a lot of DA3 players, and I can use it and set up the Denjin, its just I never use the stun to the best of its ability.

I also use Yang. I am not very good, really, since I don't use his Matis to especially good effect.I actually use a lot of his kicks, since they are fairly decent, especially the jumping mk into angled kick thing combo. I tend to use SA3, but not very well. I am getting used to it though, and typically use cancled cycled mantis slashes (only the first two hits). I use SA2 on characters with good wake up moves (anyone with some kind of shoryuken style move, which is pretty much half the cast) but I don't use the actual super, rather the EX advantage.

I play this quite a bit on my Xbox (Anniversary Collection) and while I'm probably best with Akuma, I'm also really good with Dudley. Even though he's more a Balrog-type character he's also got a lot of good power moves.

Seriously, why is grabbing a main staple of this game? I see more ppl grab in the game than do combos:S

Yes, I will tend to use Ryu most of the time. I like his normal list, and actually tend to use them a lot more than his moves. Admitadly he is a fairly straightforward/ predictable character, but that can be said about most 3S characters. I also use SA2 (shin shoryuken) more often, mainly because it looks cool.

Yang is my secondary. I really don't have the ability to take advantage of hitconfirms (ie his classic c. medium kick > mantis combo), so unless I am able to effectively parry my opponent I can have a bit of trouble with him.

I only use two characters in Street Fighter, because I have played mainly Guilty Gear recently. I have a very poor Gouki that I use very occasionally for fun, but at the arcades I don't like to throw my money away like that. I don't use people like Ken and Chun Li out of disgust for how common they are spammed (and only use Gouki for his amusing super).

3rd Strike is the deal. But I'm moving on to SF4, Btw. SF4 has parries to save you one more time, But I hope Sagat isn't damn cheap with TIGER, TIGER, TIGER UPPERCUT, TIGER GENOCIDE.
