This two games seem to be in constant battle in the stores. People have to decide wich one of the two to buy. I decided to purchase Morrowind, because most of the people that had played both games recomended Morrowind better. Also because of the reviews. I've seen Dungeon Siege and its a cool game.... but I would like to hear some opinions on this....
I rate Morrowind with a 8.9 in a sacale of 10
and I rate Dungeon Siege with a 7.9.
How do you rate them?

after beating the single player and completing all the task in the multiplayer, theres nowhere left to go really..Its not like everquest where you have a seemingly endless environment.
because of this its been several months since ive played. If someone comes out with any new maps id probably get back into it. morrowwind, on the other hand, seems more of a challenge and the map seems much larger. id have to say that i prefer morrowind.

I own both game and I thought DS was disappointingly short compared to morrowind. Morrowind is much larger and the plugins give it more replay value. In Nov 02 there will be an expansion for morrowind so I will have to say morrowind.

hmmm, good question. i have played through morrowindso many times and i have just started to play dungeon seige. that i completely forgot about morrowind. i have morrowind for a very looong time i have beaten the game with almost every race. but i perfer dungeon seige over morrowind becuase this is more the tye of game i like. of coruse there are simialrties. but i like dungeon seige for now.

Loosing my addiction to games. When I first have a game and my very first game Diablo 2 I felt like I was hooked for life untill I cant take the hacks anymore. And second game Counter-Strike had a shorter addiction which I played a year only. And most of my other games is about 1 day to 1 month. My latest game I bought was Neverwinter Nights. Its the most boring RPG in history! You have to do more reading than you play. Anyway out of the 3 games Dungeon Siege, Neverwinter Night and I have play only a bit of Morrowind I would say Dungeon Siege is the best but if I played more Morrowind it might be different.

I think you need both of them. Either dungeon siege or baldurs gate...

I have both of these games. If you have played Diablo and liked it DS is good game for you, otherwise it isn't! Morrowind is not like DS, Morowind is more RPG than DS, DS is hack 'n' slash game without much RPG elements.

IMO DS is better due to the fact that you can play online and have some real fun with the mods.
i know that DS is by far a shorter game but i think the graphics are better than morrowind and the fact that there are no loading screens on DS makes it far superior.

Online multiplay makes DS the winner in my book. Morrowind didn't grab me in the first 10 minutes, DS did, and never let go.

I dont even think you can compare the 2 morrowind was a great game but nothing like ds, although ds is a good game, it is too short and the online game play would be good if it wasnt hacked to the core so in my opinion morrowind beats ds by a lot

I think Morrowind is the better of the two games.it's longer,much longer,and there's more area to explore.I also thinks it more fun.

i cant believe people are picking DS over morrowind. morrowind = endless and free-roam. DS = a straight line of gameplay

LOL Game Masta surely you realise this is a DS board so its more likely that DS would be named the favoured game over another.
