Post your reasons here of why this game sucks and why no one should bother with it.

The battle system, targeting system, camera, controls, cinematics, and the missions suck. And yes, I beat this game 100% today.

Sure, I enjoy flying around, but that is the only thing this game got right. It reminds me of the countless hours I would spend in Spider-Man 2, or the Hulk just jumping around, throwing cars etc.

The missions are repetitive, and the whole set up they went with is boring and frustrating. Do the same missions over and over until you gain enough experience, watch a movie, repeat. You won't lose because the game is actually challenging or makes you think, but because of poor gameplay design.

The lock-on system and controls would have me cussing as I watched the health bar for Metropolis go down. Why the *bleep* did they make one of the major combo buttons also the button that makes you take off and fly? MY GOD.


Also, once you beat the last 'boss' and have 95%, don't bother going for 100%. You get absolutely nothing for it.

If you want to get ALL the achievements though (play for 12 hours? Haha, I beat this game in 6) make sure you do all the side missions.

Edit: EA should stop making superhero games. The only cool things about this game are flying and the Ultimate Wind Breath, and using that breath on loads of cars to watch them go flying and explode into buildings.

The fighting is about as disorientated as cat with smarty tubes on its legs.

The achievments are not worth it."Holy shit Batman !, I'll fly around for 10000 miles and get a freaking picture to take up more space on my freaking hard-drive, freaking awesome Batmam !"

And the repetition is ubelievable. You'd have thought they'd have tryed to incorporate something with SOME variety.

And this is why Batman can easily (and has already) kick Superman's ass.

I played the demo and you're so right. The game is utter shit, but it's a little bit fun to just fly around still

YES I CAN FINALLY EXPRESS MYSELF ABOUT THIS AWFUL AWFUL GAME. This game is absoulutely terrible there is no storyline, the only story line is in the cinematics and yes the repetition is unbelievable i was looking forward to getting this game because i thought it would be good and you know what, i bought this instead of Tom Clancys Rainbow Six Vegas the next chance i get i am getting rid of this horrible game.

I think your all over exaggerating, just jumping on the band wagon. The city, the powers and the flying system are all above par, the only thing it really lacks is a half decent story line and combat system.

At the end of the day, it was never expected to to be an epic such as Gears of War or Metal Gear Solid, say. Just accept it for what it is, which is a decent Superman game.

Sorry, but I don't jump on the bandwagon on games. I said the flying was good, and the amount of freedom you have is cool too while doing so, but the camera, the combat system, and the repetitiveness of the missions ruin it.

I don't know about you, but I do not like fighting the same enemies over and over and over, just to watch a movie, and then repeat the whole process all over again until they throw in a mini-boss (whose battle is just like his other ones).

I mean, Superman is all about combat, and if it lacks a decent one like you said, then how can the game be good? How long can you really just fly around and use your Ultimate Wind Breath (the only one that I really enjoyed) until you are drained?

I never expected it to be even close to games like Metal Gear Solid or Gears of War. My expectations were very low, and even then I was let down.

Yes, it is better than Superman 64 (returned that piece of shit same day), but is it worth your money? Hell no.

When I pay $60 for a game, I want it to be better than decent, I would like it to actually be fun to play throughout, instead of just hoping that I am done with it after every time I fight some *bleep*ing robots or dragons.

EA has always failed with superhero games, and this game is no different.

It is sad because you can see the potential of how awesome this game could've been.

omfg i made the mistake of renting this piece of shit. you fight the same goddam shitty enemies over and over and wtf is with the *bleep*in dragons? At one time I was forcing myself to play for the achievements so I felt I got my money's worth from the rental but then i said f it this is the worst piece of shit that I ever put in my 360. Sure the city is big but its the same boring buildings over and over. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAME!!!!!!
