Thanks livstme! And my school doesn't kick out people either and they do encourage us to strive to our best. I have lots of new teachers this year so I need to try and make a good first impression

We get these merit sticker things for good work and we get a certificate from the mayor if we do well. Oh... and a 'amazing' special pen!

What languages do you guys learn?? I find this quite interesting.

We learn French (starts in Year 7) and German (starts in Year 8) and have the option to take Spanish at GCSE (Year 10-11).

I heard Mandarin is popular but we can't because there aren't enough teachers.

In my form though we collectively speak about 14-15 different languages (there are 26 of us).

I only speak English and Pig Latin fluently

I have to learn Spanish. My future high school offers Italian, French, and Spanish for foreign language (along with Latin, which everyone has to take in their freshman year) and I can't decide between Italian and French. Kutiekinzie I'd actually recommend the good education high school. You could take acting, dancing, and singing classes as afterschool activities during those four years. Then, with a pleasant report card, a sufficient amount of extracurriculars, and having attended a well-received high school, you can get accepted into a fantastic college that has a great theatre program and major in performing arts there! That way you're getting a good education while still learning about musical theatre and achieving towards your dream of being on Broadway.

But when deciding, don't forget to consider which school you like better overall and how comfortable and happy you feel in each one. After all, it'll practically be your home for four years.

Anyway, you've still got a long way to go before you're in the position of making that decision, so don't get a gray hair stressing out about it. Just do well in school, try your best to get good grades, do extracurriculars that you like. You'll figure everything out eventually. :)

I spoke better Italian in one year than i did with 9 years of french (plus my fluent in french dad).

I have wanted to learn Italian since I went to Rome/Venice one summer. It is so beautiful there but I am trying to focus on my French for GCSE. I am going to go and visit my Grandad in France next year to help as they say, 'You don't learn a language - you live it'.

My goal in life is to be fluent in 14 languages (bit of a push I know ).

I have been put off German though due to my teacher. She spent every lesson just talking at us and she did try but I couldn't understand half of it. French is okay though.

Thats still better than me, I have never seen a single episode (only a few minutes of it). It used to scare me so badly (rest of family watched it) that I could never watch it. And I guess I never got into it.

I want to get into Doctor Who! I'm just so lazy. I even have a Netflix account at my disposal, but if I'm watching anything on Netflix it's always South Park.

My life is also ruled by shows, one a Broadway show and the other a TV show. And it's ruled even more by the people who created and are involved with both shows.

I used to absolutely adore Glee. The first thirteen episodes have a special place in my heart, but I don't like the rest of it anymore. The shows I'll be watching actively this year are South Park, The New Normal, and 1600 Penn!
