Harvest Moon Roleplay 1: A Fresh Start

Welcome to the first roleplay of the HMDS Cute forum! So, without further ado, here are the rules:

1. Follow all forum rules: This includes, but is not limited to spamming, flaming and double-posting. Also, please do not use references to heavy drinking, sexual content, or bad language. This is a child friendly forum, so talking about PG-13 content is not allowed.

2. No God-Modding: This means no abilities that gives you an advantage over others, like flying or healing. This includes magic, the ability, not the religion.

3. Basic Roleplay Rules
-Always post the date(i.e. Sunday, Spring 15th, Year One)
-You must wait until two people post a roleplay post before you can post
-If you wish to discuss the roleplay, use a provided thread, since we don't want to clog up this thread with discussion
-You must ask permission before using another person's character, since otherwise you may say something that character would never say.

4. Unnatural violence such as nuclear warfare is strictly prohibited, since it is highly unrealistic. Instead, tornadoes, hurricanes, and other natural disasters can be used, but only if all roleplay participants or at least a majority agree.

5. Everyone must agree on the death of a character, such as Nina. This goes along with the previous rule, especially since this isn't one person's roleplay, but a community roleplay.

6. You must wait at least two seasons to become married. After married, you must wait one season to announce a pregnancy, and one season for the baby to be born.

7. For now, you can only create one main character, just to prevent a clogging of characters.

8. Skye: Since Skye is so desirable, you must voice your wish to marry Skye, and a random draw will decide who marries him. If that person leaves the roleplay, Skye will go to the next person, and so on. Going along with this, once a bachelor/bachelorette is claimed, you cannot show a romantic interest in that character.

10. Heart Events: If you wish to marry an in-game character, you can experience their heart events if you wish. You must make heart events for your character and experience those as well. If you marry a non in-game character, you must see both theirs as well as your heart events.

11. Have fun, and happy roleplaying!

12. Regarding Post Length: You must post at least five sentences of in-character roleplay. You cannot expect to only post short lines and portray what is needed. Roleplay posts should include detail, you cannot describe an entire day in a few short sentences.

13. It has come to my attention that people have created characters with relations to in-game characters. I have decided to be slightly lenient on this one, and allow only distant relatives that don't know each other well enough to cause problems. For example, you cannot be the sister of Leia, but you can be the distant cousin of her. Otherwise, like powers, it gives you an advantage over others.
