Everything about this game is pointing down to hell. I'm an hour in and the characters are appalling so far. It doesn't help that their voices are dreadful too. The plot is too unbelievable (eg - fighting teachers so that they can wag school). The battle system seems very basic but actually something a little different so that area can be praised. The presentation is horrid; a generation behind in visuals, repetitive music and shabby menus. Does it get better?
I usually don't whine about games but the quality of what I have experiences so far is.... actually quite amusing. Regardless, I'll finish the game (I always do with RPGs). If I can battle through Magna Carta, I can battle through anything.
What were your first impressions (perhaps 5 years ago) and did they change at all?
