I was just thinking that we could use a place to tell some of our more interesting stories from chromehounds. I have been away from the game for a little while, but this one still stick in my head...
I was in a 1 on 1 match with a guy, and he completely sneaks past me and spikes my base, by going over the water in St. Yves. I had to give him credit. Anyway, I think to myself, that sucked, but I will give the guy credit where it is due. I go to join another 1 on 1 in the same map, since I was trying to help defend it, and (I didnt realize this until midway through the match) I was actually fighting the same guy. Learning from my mistake, I proceeded forward the same way I did before, but I looked carefully over the water. Sure enough, I saw a small hover scout moving quickly across the water. I start shooting at him, but I was unable to hit the speedy little mech from so far away. he starts to get around me, and I am fearing the worst. Then, I see him make a huge mistake. He comes onto land, well out of my range for an accurate shot, but he does so right next to a large gas tank. I notice this before he even hits the shore, so I just wait for a moment. As soon as he hits the land, I fire a single volley into the tanks, causing them to explode, and taking him with them. I was thinking, "now we are even 1 for 1," but the bastard decides to pull his network cable and disconnect...I had respected him highly as a player right up to that moment, then all respect was gone. Luckily, this was right after the update that fixed it so that I still got credit for the win, but the idea that an opponent that I had respected had tried to do something like that upset me.

Well this isnt much detail, but i don't remember it that well. It's just my most remembered fight. Anyways, i was using a fast sal kar leg model (73 speed) and i was in the desert. I had a shield in front of my cockpit and 6 sal kar HEAT rockets, 3 by 3. I ran in front of my other teammates since i was fast. i got to the enemy team eventually and it was me against there 5 player team. But, somehow, what a miracle, i dont know how, i managed to destroy 3 of their hounds, 1 by 1, with the whole team attacking me. Not 1, not 2, but 3 hounds, AND with the whole team attacking me. i don't know how i did it. AND I SWEAR NO LIE EITHER, TOTALLY TRUE. My battle strategy is running around while rapidly firing my left 3 rockets, then my right 3, then left 3, right 3, etc. (Trigger, bumper, trigger, bumper, etc.)
Also, I was wondering if you could give me a little help here. how do you get sabres? I have like a glitch on my game or something. I look in the tarakian online shop, and they have sniper cannons like the epees and stuff, but no sabres, they're just NOT THERE. i could use some help please. Could you give me some help on how/where to buy sabres? I'd appreciate it.

The Sabres are on the Xbox Live Marketplace. Just go download them there. They're one of the free ones, thankfully.

One time I was in Sal Kar like North Cemo Oil Field or something i don't know but i was fighting this one guy with a sniper mech. Were both pretty damaged and then BOOM we fire at the same time both hitting the others cockpit and im screaming at the tv cause the COCKPIT HEAVILY DAMAGED showed up and then my hound dies but once I looked at the backround I saw that my shot hit the other dude first and I won. And it's all thanks to Sabres with impoved penetration power.

sounds a lot like my sniper actualy... what map and whats an AR and was it on quads? And what exactly is a naga?

I got another. We (2 of my squad members) were running in Village Ruin yesterday night when we came across the squad, 41st Death Com. as our oppenents. We rushed them with 'nades because I was expecting just the same. They brought howwies and such. SO, when we rushed, they stripped us, meanwhile, WE stripped them. So, being a standoff, everyone rushed to get Combas'. We won by having 4 of the 3. Luckily we had THERE ACV shoot at our guy and missed enough to hit there allie. Killing them. Heh. Fun.

I don't use inverse to snipe. just quads. I use sub sniperss and sniper cannons though. Only thing like that I remember though was in the mountains on some snow level.

I haven't gotten online cause I need the adapter so I don't know what exactly you guys are talking about. Anyway my question is are you guys playing player vs player
