	Log in to remove this sponsored message Ok, i'm on a full-blown Gears Binge. I decided to go back and beat all the Gears games on Hardcore, and collect all collectibles and COG tags. I'm on Gears 1. Just realizing how excellent the graphics on this were (especially for a game almost 5 yrs. old.) Also realizing how the newer gears are nowhere near as difficult as this one was. Wouldn't you all agree that since they added the "Down but not out" to single player mode, it's become a whole lot easier? Back then it was like, you're down, you're dead. 	Yeah, playing solo you always just die in Gears 1. In Gears 2 you just die on Hardcore and above. In Gears 3 you still die on Insane (and this applies even in co-op which is a new difficulty). And yeah, all three look excellent honestly. ------------------- Incerto

Not once did I feel such pressure playing both following games :/. The campaigns following GOW1 just felt less about strategy and more about spectacle. -------------------

	I went back to playing GOW 1. Wow it is so different than 3. As stated before the down but not out. I forgot that you just died in this one. It took me a couple of times to remember that. As far as difficulty I give it to the first one. However 3 is the most fun to play. One bad thing about three is every enemy's health seems a lot less than in 1. The boomers on insane is equal to medium on GOW1.
