COG tags are the COG equivalent of Dog tags. Every soldier has one around their neck.
There are 30 in the campaign, and you get an achievement for every 10 you collect. So your basically collecting the tags of 30 different dead COG soldiers. One such death you get to witness at the Berserker scene on act 1.  | |
