Alright... I don't understand. What are skulls, and how do you get them, because I hear it gets you new armour. Sorry if there is another thread like this...

It's basically modifications to the campaign to make it more 'interesting'. It adds to your meta-score and if you get all of it, you get some very sexy (and over used) armor.

Ok, could you tell me where to get the ones I need to upgrade Elite armour, because my guy is an Elite.

And also, what is my meta-score?

The armor you get from finding all of the skulls is for the Spartan. You can activate meta-scoring by pushing 'X' in the campaign options menu. It basically gives you points for how quickly you complete the level, how many enemies you kill, headshots, etc.

speaking of skulls i got all but 2 i need the one on the levels cortana and the storm. If i get both those i will have all will it unlock they hayabusa helmet if i get those last 2?

Does anbody no where i could get GOOD directions for all the skulls?

i found a few skulls but nothing happens when i pick them up...any spacific thing i have to do?

only gold skulls give you achievement points, to activate the skulls you have to press X in the campain lobby.

theres a skull(s) in each level they give u stuff for example the grunt birthday party skull (silver skull) will make a grunts head explode when u get a headshot on em or another is the fog skull (gold skull) it turns off ur radar

I only found two on my own, so for the rest I relied on youtube.

So, first you need to get a complete list of the skulls' names. There are 13 total: 9 gold and 4 silver. Google Halo 3 skulls and you'll find a few sites which list their names. They'll probably also tell you what the effects are and directions on where to find them. But some of the directions were difficult to make sense of, so I then went to youtube so I could actually see someone else retrieving the skulls. Just do a search on youtube with the name of the skull, and several video submissions will show up. Some are crappy, but some are really good quality and easy to follow--especially when they narrate over the video with instructions.

Make sure of two things, however. You must be on Normal or harder, and you must start from the level's beginning.

Some examples of skull effects are that your enemies will throw more grenades at you, the AI dialogue will be different, and explosions will be larger.

Yeah, I second that question. You made me think it was a new thread, so I answered it. I guess that's my bad for not reading the dates, but you, lilboy9525, obviously knew how old the thread was 'cause you revived it from God knows what page. Noob.

I stupidly used my gravlift on the wrong section! I've tried going back to that building where I fought the Scarab to try and grab another but the last door is locked so I can't get back.
