What is a "Zar'roc"?

I knew I recognized that name from somewhere. Yes, I have read Eragon and the second book "Eldest" too. Do you know if the third book in that series has been released yet?

Yeah, I got the book too. Just finished reading the first book, now onto the second. Zar'roc is the sword mentioned at least every Third page in the book. Maybe another good item would be Brom's Ring. You could enchant a ring increasing your speachcraft or/and personality, as in the Book its a sign that the Elves are friends with the bearer.

I read the first two books and saw the movie but I thought the movie was kind of a let-down. Definitely one of those cases where the book was better than the movie. So for enchanting purposes Kalin, would you do a flame enchantment on a Shivering isles Amber Sword then to make your Zar'roc???

I recently enchanted a ring, a necklace and a full set of clothing with feather:
49 points for the clothing except the helmet (only 18) and the boots (0, for some reason), 41 points and 32 points for the other.
This grants me a possible weight of 787, and a constant feather enchantment of 287.

Not only can I now outran deers and the Black Horse Courier, but I also managed to keep up with M'aiq for a bit. I met him at the stables at Leyawiin, and after he ran, I followed. I managed to keep him in sight until Water's Edge, where I was attacked by a bandit. But M'aiq was pretty far away anyway, I wouldn't have kept up much longer.

To test my speed a bit more, I also walked/ran from Leyawiin to Anvil, and managed to get there in 35 minutes (real time, of course).

Funny thing is, at Anvil I met M'aiq again. Unfortunately, he was already on the run again.
