Elder Scrolls Neowiki - Faction Rollcall - Page 3

I'm going to start a bit of work on locations, starting with the cities before slowly working our way through.

I covered the overview of the Official Mods.

It includes an overview of each DLC (From Shivering Isles, down to Spell Tomes)....

There are pages waiting to be created, that expand on each DLC, if anyone is interested....

I dunno if I'll ever get to that >_>

I'm pretty proud of myself *pats self on the back*, I was able to figure out some stuff with the coding format, so this one turned out better formatted than the one I did yesterday. Speaking of which, I'll fix that one up a bit.

BTW: Getting a wiki tag based on # of edits/submissions, rather than size? Because I've submitted just these two (Official and Unofficial mods), and have only done a couple of edits between them....I prefer to just wait until I'm done, and have previewed it, before I submit it....I might regret that, hmmmm?

EDIT: @Aspect of Bane, you probably should have used the full title (The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind)..."The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" article is titled that way, and that is the way I write it (officially), in any case. Well, I linked to your Morrowind article (in my user mods article) regardless ^_~ I am also linking the two available Elder Scrolls games (Oblivion and Morrowind) under the category "The Elder Scrolls (Series)", where hopefully, future TES game articles will be present.

I'll see to the Official Mods Tallteen if you wish, you've done a good job, although the mods wouldn't be referred to as expansions, only SI would be but not to worry

Also nice work on the Blades section Shadow, needs a tidy up and some of the section headers switching (such as On oblivion using the level 2 header and the Blades section using level 3 header) but other than that good work

I was going to work on the races today but work has wiped me out completely and I need a nap so will work on them later.

I was thinking of putting under the "statistics" area, a little "breakdown" section which will tell everyone what the effects of the specials do. I was going to go into detail of the different types of spells etc. and also give the CS ID's etc but I think they more belong on a spells page and may just add the effects at the bottom of the appriopiate page and leave it at that. Possibly linking to the future spells page later which will go into more detail.

I just had an idea. Is it possible to add Neoseeker videos to the Wiki? We could make use of the ones for Oblivion and Morrowind, and UESP doesn't have any videos so that would be something unique we could have.

Nope just tried it and after reading up on it, the only video format that Wiki supports is .OGG format, meaning we would have to pull the .swf file out the of .flv from the Neoseeker videos, then convert them, then embed them

Hence why UESP.net etc. don't have videos, however I am sure that Huntyr or one of the staff could make Neoseeker Videos compatible

Hmmm, I just hit a problem. Well it's not a big problem but until I can figure a way to reword such a big block of information to be different and useful to us then it will have to be edited in later on.

Basically I still need to find where UESP.net have got their Race history etc. from, obviously I know they got it from the game and so on but there is only so much you can reword.

Other than that, I have decided to change the race page layout as it was similar to UESP.net (as in the picture floated to the right) it is minor I know but if I can see it then many others can as well

No worries, revamping them as we speak, just finished Nord off except for what I mentioned above (the history bit)

Other than probably making a few words into links I think the Nord page is pretty much done.
