Yes, we finally have our own Elderscrolls Neowiki. Neowikis are different to Neoportals in the fact that wikis are open to community editing and not closed off to just Portal Staff. There are still wiki staff but if you wish to contribute your knowledge then this is your chance.

Here is where the plans and chatter are taking place, the first few pages were the attempts before to gain a Neoportal yet they fell through as people lost interest or got too busy.

By all means contribute away and lets make this neowiki the best Neoseeker has ever seen, however I do want to point out that there will be zero tolerance to stealing/copying and plagiarism of other people's work. Do take a paragraph or a sentence and credit the person or site responisble for it but DON'T blatantly take a whole article and pass it as your own. If I don't catch it then others will.

Lastly please don't attempt to sabotage or ruin the wiki, again if I don't catch you then someone will and edits are recorded.

Other than the above, you are free to add whatever Elder Scrolls knowledge you have, it would be best to concentrate on Morrowind and Oblivion at this moment in time as other game series bits can be put in at a later date. If you have knowledge of only one of the games then please concentrate on just that, it would be waste to work on the one you are weakest at especially if you haven't played one of them. This isn't to sound harsh but it is common sense to not waste that good knowledge

Another thing to remember is to link often. You want to keep the reader's interest peaked.

Are we going to create pages for all the shops, NPC's and places in Oblivion and Morrowind? I think it would be a good idea to have a different page for places for both games, instead of having Morrowind and Oblivion share a places page.

I can work on the tips for training on the skills pages for Oblivion, since Methian seems to be working on all the skill perks.

Yeah, each game should have its own section and sub-sections. Like, the oblivion page should have a list of quests, factions, DLC, characters, etc, all linked to spacific pages about those items. So you click in "factions" and that takes you to a page about the Dark Brotherhood, Thieves Guild, Arena etc.

oh they will since of course both games are different. However in places where the games do share the same things I will be implementing my idea of comparison tables, for example starting race stats and birthsigns (birthsigns especially since they were the biggest thing to get a make over between both games)

At the moment we should concentrate on getting the most basic information into the wiki, bump up the pages and then we all can work on the cosmetics and updating. This way everyone gets a chance to contribute

Alright finally got my "comparison table" up and running, it is in the basics at the moment since I need to install Morrowind on this PC in order to get all the right information before putting anymore info up.

If you click edit on the page you will find that I started to add comment tags at the end of the "section titles", would appreciate it if any comments you have on this were made in the talk section. If you have any improvements to add then by all means do so, just make sure to use the <!--comment tags--> so when me and others come to edit we know what has been changed etc.

The table seems to be working real well, SJ. I'll expand upon the Nords' personality and culture soon.

I've done some editing to the main page; I've added plagiarism warnings and I've added a few things to the 'major projects' table. The main header is on its' way.

And thanks for the guide, NS. I actually have no idea how to make tables.

Aye I noticed Aspect, I also added a colour scheme (same as the Nord table) to the main page. I am thinking however of either using dfferent themes throughout.

For example: Morrowind uses the tan colour scheme but Oblivion uses a darker version or vice versa. Or even to jazz it up, have say left side of the main page as tan colour and the other side black and red to indicate the light side and dark side of both games that seems to be present.

I may over the next week or so play around with many themes, take screenshots of each and then put it to the public. Like I mentioned in the talk page area, the original default page is saved on my PC

I also found this Wiki Table markup helpful. Certainly helped with the colours as well since the one linked by Nightmare only gives the code but doesn't tell you how to implement it for different rows etc.

Of course Lost although I am still adding to it and a few more (working on the Nordic Base Attributes at the moment as well as adding various other things to the Nord page)

At this moment in time all I am doing is experimenting to see what looks good and if the comparison table will work without taking away from other pages, such as the "statistics explanation" some of that should be in the actual skills page explaining the differences between the two games. However if some people just look at the race pages and spot the tables they won't understand completely.

I created a new page titled User Mods.

Though now that I think of it, the name "Unofficial Mods" might be a bit better?

In any case, there are several categories I added on it, that need to be created....I hope I didn't screw things up >_>
