I heard on shivering isles that some NPC's wear the armor and you sometimes get it from them when you search theyre body.

If you are a high enough level go into caves with bandits in it. They will usually have glass, daedric, and ebony around level 25+, but there is no guarantee.

at level 15 go to the vidasel ruin south of IC near pells gate kill the chick and be sure to grab the sword or lvl 18+ find on maruders (heavy armored dungeon dwellers)
