re: opening eclipse

how is this game? I was planning on getting it, but reviews are luke warm so far. it sounds like the career mode and car pimping are quite deep, but the tracks are very bland and car control isn't well done.

re: opening eclipse

it's pretty good. the pimpin isn't a good as i expected though.the gameplay is pretty good exept for that if you accidentally turn too early and hit a wall or turn to late and sorta spin out, there's no reset button to get you back on track. you have to back up out of the turn and then go. normally that might be OK but that's enough time for everyone else to get ahead and the AI never messes up(except for the AI in my crew) that part took up a lotmore of the post than expected. oh well.

re: opening eclipse

hmm.. so far i don't feel like any of the underground racers seem that great. only midnight club 3 sounds good, then you factor in the 60-70 second load times and it's unplayable. I'm actually considering getting Street Supremacy, with is Tokyo Xtreme Racer. The NFSU Rivals pimping sounds very shallow, how one upgrade is used for all cars.

re: opening eclipse

now im pretty far in career mode and it's getting pretty annoying. all i'm pretty much doing now is hosting my own sprint(drag)events and trying to up my new caars and my crew members' stats. now the best cars are all rear wheel drive which all have terrible handling in the game and the calls from other crew leaders(actually, that part is pretty cool) i get are always about pink slip races with a rwd corvette of mine and a dodge charger or corvette of theirs. i speed through the menu trying not to get called cuz i'm losing a lot of respect turning down the races. i also have three corvettes. didn't buy any.

just thought i would update

re: opening eclipse

sorry for the double post but i don't really think it should matter that much. i started over and beat nina but you don't get to keep it. you do however get another speech from her. yay.
