I sat by the tree for awhile.
Thinking.
Where to go next?
"Ah," I mumbled.
"I, uh, got you this...sis.." I said, pushing the food into her hands.
She looked at it.
"I'm...not hungry." She replied, pushing it back into my hands.
I shook my head.
"Take it. You're sick."
She continued to push the food away.
"Presea, without this, you'll...you'll...!"
I stared at Presea.
She was so pale, so weak.
"Woah! That girl needs to see a doctor!" A man exclaimed.
I grabbed Presea's hand.
No, not again!

Shaking my head, I turned and ran down the other side of the mountain.
I soon stumbled upon another village.
It seemed more peppy though, and full of smiles.
This conclusion came to me as I walked through the paths, every single person waving at me.
Yet, I did not wave back.
I was in no move to wave.
Sighing, I turned the corner of a path and stumbled over a rock.
Something caught me.
A man---a plump man.
"Oh, Miss, are you okay?" he asked. Suddenly, his eyes lit up. "Hey! Are you here for the Exciting Ranch Plan?!"
I made a puzzled face. "The what?"

Ashley plopped the fish right in front of the door and walked off.
"Sheesh.. I gotta do something.." Ashley muttered.
"Ah HAH!" Ashley said. Raising her hands, she froze alot of water in the shape of a surf board.
She grabbed it, and went to the beach.

His face dropped.
"You're...you're not here for that?" he asked.
I gulped. Should I lie?
"Actually, I am," I smiled. "Sorry, I forgot."
He laughed heartily. "Okay, then. Pick your property."

"Come over here. I'll take her to a doctor." The man said, stepping closer.
I shook my head.
"No."
He seemed puzzled.
"That girl needs a doctor!" He shouted, attempting to grab at her hand.
"No! Don't touch my sister!" I shouted.
If someone were to take my sister to a doctor,
and they found out what has happened...
She might be tested on...
"Presea, don't let him touch you!" I commanded.
Presea nodded.
"Come over here! That girl needs help!" The man instructed.
He caught Presea's hand.
Presea stood there for a minute.
"Get away." She mumbled, slapping his hand.
"All she needs is me!" I said, pulling Presea away.

I picked land near the shore. It seemed fit for me.
"Wonderful!" the plump man cheered. "Now, you may go to your house."
I gave him a strange look. "I don't really-"
"Take this map," he interrupted.
I nodded and grabbed the piece of paper he held out.
After reviewing it for a minute, I knew where I had to go.
Perfect.

Its been quite awhile since then.
I don't know how long.
Days?
Months?
Years?
Who knows.
I pushed myself forward.
Presea weakly followed after.
I bet she regrets not eating that food now.
"Presea...I..I can't go on anymore." I mumbled, my legs shaking.
Presea shook her head.
"We must move on." She said, walking ahead of me.
I sighed.
Wait a second.
"Flowerbud Village. Home to all." A sign read.
Home?
I won't believe it.
"Exciting Ranch Plan. Free of Charge."
Okay, now I will.
I was never a farm girl,
but this'll have to do until we get enough money to leave.
"Presea, this is it! This is our new home!" I exclaimed.
Presea turned her head.
"New...home?" She asked.
I nodded.
She gave me a look of dissaproval.
"Presea, we have no choice. Come on!" I said, tugging her into town square.
Finally.
Maybe we'll find someone here that can fill Presea's traumatized heart.
Maybe.

Over night, I kept having horrible dreams.
Waking up screaming. Crying in my sleep.
But finally, morning arrived.
And so did a knocking on my door.
"Argh!" I moaned.
Swiftly pulling my hair into a ponytail, I clambered over to the door.
As I opened it, I saw no one standing before me.
"What the heck?" I mumbled. "Ding dong ditch?"
Little snickers arose from my feet.
Glancing down, I gasped at the sight of three sprites.
"We got her!" one exclaimed.
Rolling my eyes, I knelt down. "Oh really?

Presea woke me up the next morning.
"The door..." She mumbled, pointing towards the front door.
I heard small voices.
I yawned and headed for the door.
When I opened it, nobody was there.
I heard the voices though, that's for sure.
"Hmm, nobody's there..." I said to myself, beginning to close the door.
Presea stood up.
"Three small children...please, look." She said, standing in the doorway and kneeling down.
I stared at her.
"Presea...no! First your emotions, now you're going crazy?!" I frowned.
Presea scowled at me.
"Look. Can't you see? Children." She said, staring into the air.
"Sprites of the Harvest Goddess. Don't you remember the story?..." She continued.
Ah, now I remember.
And the moment I did, the littler children were standing before Presea, just like she'd said.
"Woah! Y-You can see us?!" They chimed.
Presea was silent.
I nodded.
The sprites examined Presea.
"How sad. Doesn't this girl make you sad?" One asked.
Presea continued to stare at them with her dull eyes.
The others nodded.
"So sad.." They agreed.
I was mad.
"H-Hey, don't make fun of my sister!" I hissed.
They ignored me.
"Just like her, isn't she? What a shame." They shook their heads.
"Come with us." They frowned.
Presea followed.
"H-Hey! Waaiiittt! Preseaaaaa!" I called, running after her.

I did a picture of Ashley.

Ashley walked to the water, put her surfboard down and fell onto it.
"TIMBER!" She shouted as she fell. She paddled.. and paddled.. and paddled.
"WAVEEEEE!" Ashley shouted.

......
Ashley stood up. "WOO!" She shouted.
CRASH! "My bad.." Ashley muttered as she stood up, clutching onto her surfboard.
"No, It's my fault.." Someone said in a quiet voice.
I looked at the man. Oh.. My.. GOSH! SOOOO CUTE! Ashley thought.
"I'm Joe." Joe said, holding out his hand.
"I'm Ashley." She said. She shook his hand and then paddled back to shore.

I follwed hem all the way into a cave.
"Here she is." The sprites whispered.
I looked up.
"What a beautiful statue. Where did you get it?" I smiled.
The sprites scowled at me.
"Human life form. Petrified." Presea observed.
The sprites nodded at her.
"She's the Harvest Goddess. Have you ever heard of her?"
Presea stared at them.
"Fiction. She does not exist." Presea hissed.
The sprites shook their heads.
"You believe in her. If you can see her right before you, you truly believe in her." They objected.
Presea didn't answer.
I stared at the two.
"Why did you bring us here?" I asked.
The sprites sighed.
"You can see her; you can save her. We need your help." They all chimed.
The sprites turned to Presea.
"And as for the depressing girl, we saw connection..." They all mumbled.
"Connection?" I questioned.
Ah, now I see it.

The little men jumped in shock.
"You can see us?!" one shouted.
"Yeah," I laughed. "Why wouldn't I?"
"She's the one," a sprite whispered to the others.
"The what?"
Suddenly, I was in a dark cave.
It was creeping me out.
Everything looked...depressing.
No flowers, no statues, not even playful animals.
"Where am I?" I asked.

Presea stared at the Harvest Goddess.
"They look alike, don't they?" The sprites chimed.
I nodded.
Both so depressing.
Presea and the Goddess both had no trace of shimmers in their eyes, no pink cheeks, no happy smiles.
"They both went into shock.." I mumbled.
"What?" The sprites frowned.
"The Harvest Goddess was so shocked by her villagers forgetting her that she lost all emotions, and shows hardly any signs of life. Presea....P-Presea..." I choked.
The sprites stared at me.
"What's wrong?"
"Presea....our parents...I-I..." I couldn't keep it in any longer.
All those tears streamed down my face.
The sprites were surprised.
Presea just stared at me.
"Someone's presence.." She whispered.
I looked up.
Wiping my cheeks and rubbing my eyes, I could see a blurry figure in front of me.
"So, you found someone else who can see you?" It asked.
"Her and the girl." The sprites answered.

"Near the Harvest Goddess," a sprite informed.
"The what?"
I heard a sigh. "You mean you don't see her?"
"See who?"
I felt a tap on my shoe.
Looking down, the littlest sprite frowned at me.
"You weally down't see howre?" he whined.
"No, I don't..." I sighed, patting his head.
"You need to believe!" the leader sprite shouted.
I closed my eyes. "I believe.."
