Trickster, Beowulf, Rebellion! Evasion over attack! Remember to hit him while he's DTed to deactivate it!

Darn, please explain your specific problem with Vergil!

I beat him with Agni & Rudra and Rebellion and my guns where Ebony & Ivory and Artemis. When he Dt's, run like hell.When he comes towards you jump backwards away from him. And jump back like 3 times. When he is somewhere between half and quarter of his life, he will DT and he will come out of nowhere and slash you. basically thats all u got 2 look out 4 besides the Boomerang Force Edge.

What I did was put a cheat in so i could hav unlimited devil trigger. Go to the main screen and hold R1+R2+L1+L2 and spin the left analog stick and a gunshot sound is heard. Then go into the level screen and change Dante to where he has purple smoke around him and then go into the game and u hav unlimited devil trigger

Anyway, the cheat is no longer available for the Special Edition (to experienced players: just play along; there IS no cheat, right?), so you just can't get that Super Dante costume straight ahead.

Nope, wrong. There still is a cheat for the Special Edition.

It is possible in any mode. You simply wait until he's done trying to attack you (while getting out of the way of course ) and then hit him with some combos until he grunts, then dodge away and shoot until he attacks again. Same with judgement cut. When he's in dt and not doing a special attack you can hit him and force him back to humanity. When he special attacks (the many random orbs of doom or the non-stop attacking) Run like a biatch until he stops and then hack the crap out of him.

I'm not a fekkin' fa is write. oh and you don't need a cheat to beat him i can beat him in dmd only using one s devil star his moves are pretty predictable one you fight him a few times:)

Oh yes it is. I ordered mine from England and took out my memory card to see if it would work without tainting all of MY hard work and it worked, so hah! And I agree it's more fun to play for your extras, cheating is evil.

Use the beowulf and Trickstar (at least level 2). Whenever he attacks air hike as high as you can and killer bee him. After that DT and unleash hell with beo combos. Once he slides back stop he will counter. Once he DTs just killer bee him again until it disappears. When he super DTs he will either attacks with super power which in case stay in the air and sky star when he tries to use helm breaker. If he uses the million orbs attack just run and pray is about all you can do. Will he just spams helm breaker just jump backwards with a combination of sky star. That's about all about him

nope Lv.3 Trickster is better, along with Rebellion and Beowulf, because u will have a higher success rate and your style gauge will build up as long as u don't get hit by Vergil's Judgement Slash Lv.1 and Lv.2, along with his most devastating move known as Rapid Judgement Slash. He will only use that move when he is at his last bit of health.

A lot of people use the trickster style for him huh? I personally go with Cerberus and Beowulf with either Swordmaster or Royal Guard at level 3. Royal Guard at max level renders you invincible to attacks (for a short period) and if you know Vergil's movements, using Real Impact with Beowulf messes him up. Who are you using anyway Dante or Vergil?

I just used Agni & Rudra With E&I and Nexon and Shotgun.

I got the double jump with A&R Every time he attacks i just double jump and when he almost hits the ground if your Gunslinger I would hit a charge shot then spam vergils face with A&R then jump back running around when hes in DT mode or do the double jump and repeat.


But I've beaten Bloody palace on Vergil and Dante. So I got supers XD
