I bought a used game off ebay and i was just wondering if its a copy game, not a real one. When i turn it on the first thing that comes on the screen after the gameboy logo is a screen with the language, even though its a US version and then there's a health and safety warning and then a "Published by Nintendo" screen comes up. I've never seen this on any of the games before. Also it seems that the enemies very rarely attack. What do you all think? Could someone maybe post a pick of their FFIV cartridge because mine doesn't have a gold nintendo seal of quality on it and it doesn't seem to fit into the GBA perfectly either, when i rub my finger across the top of the gameboy and the cartridge i can feel a sort of lip. With all the other games it's perfectly flush across the top. Thanks in advance.

That seems odd, I will root out my copy of the game and box and take a picture for you, although it maybe slightly different as it is i think a European copy but should solve the problem if a gold mark is on it.

Unless your GBA has been badly damaged near the area where the cartridge would go, there should be no lip at all. The health and safety warning and "Published by: Nintendo" are on legitimate copies, so that's not an issue. Further, any official copy would have the gold seal of quality.

In other words, it's a fake.

Yes, it's a copy, sorry to tell you. It happened to me before (a Fire Emblem game), but if you can save, maybe you can still play it (my Fire Emblem didn't even saved). That kind of copy is commonly playable, but still have errors, and sometimes are screwed up. Sorry to tell you.
